Statement Regarding Comments by “Die Familienunternehmer”

Bielefeld, 26.11.2025 - Currently, there are numerous reports in the media and especially on social networks about statements made by the association “Die Familienunternehmer,” which intends to abandon the so-called firewall against the right-wing party AfD. In this context, it has been mentioned that the Oetker Group or Dr. Oetker is a member of this association.

We would therefore like to clarify: Neither Dr. August Oetker KG nor Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG are members of the association “Die Familienunternehmer.”

As a matter of principle, Dr. Oetker does not issue statements on party politics. However, as part of society, we are aware of political and social developments in our environment. We are committed to an open, free, and democratic society, which forms the basis for peaceful and cooperative coexistence among people, and we firmly oppose any extremist or totalitarian movements.
