Dr. Oetker is the founding company and a member of the Oetker Group.

For over 130 years, we have combined entrepreneurial spirit with innovation.

Dr. Oetker is 100 percent family-owned and has been based in Bielefeld, Germany, since its founding in 1891. The company is both the original founding company and a member of the Oetker Group.

Worldwide, Dr. Oetker owns more than 40 national companies. They are decentrally organized and geared to the local needs of the customers in each country. Aside from the production sites in Germany, Dr. Oetker also runs manufacturing plants in Europe, the Americas, as well as Africa, Asia and Australia. Since 2017, Dr. Albert Christmann has been Chairman of the Executive Board and is responsible for corporate management.

As the holding company, Dr. August Oetker KG manages all corporate processes of the Oetker Group, coordinating finances and taxes and managing the central service departments.
